Dinner (blackened grouper) at Red Bar is a weekly staple for our family when visiting. We love everything the menu has to offer for both adults & kids. Not only is the food exquisite, the vibe and hang is something myself and our kids look forward too! We drive down from Rosemary Beach for this one of a kind experience!

My family loves The Red Bar, but who doesn't? However, I cannot do seafood, so I get the panne chicken when we go as a family. It is delicious. The mashed potatoes are creamy and buttery. The chicken is always tender and has a light lemon butter taste to it. The capers add a nice bit of flavor. Even the salad is enjoyable. And who doesn't love a nice buttered roll? The portion is very large and filling. I highly recommend!

Nearly every aspect of this dish is perfect. The grouper is perfectly spiced and cooked, and sitting atop the grit cake should be considered a bucket list dish. Clean plate club or bust on this one.

If you want a break from the seafood-heavy menus along 30A, the manicotti from here is a great choice. The pasta comes out bubbling hot, packed with rich, cheesy filling, and covered in a flavorful homemade marinara that tastes comforting without being too heavy. It's simple, classic Italian comfort food done really well plus the warm roll on the side is perfect for soaking up every bit of sauce. Add in the funky atmosphere and live music, and it's one of those dishes that just feels right after a day at the beach.

By far the best manicotti I've ever had. You might think, manicotti at a seafood place? Yes, that's right. The best I've ever had, it's so good we get it for an appetizer because you can't go to red bar and not get the panne chicken (my meal) and the fish of the day with the grit cake (my gfs meal but I am proposing in 2 weeks while we are down there at the beach) so you can get a taste of everything. My favorite restaurant in the world and we can't wait to visit on July 4th weekend. I would drive 2 hours out of my way just for a dinner here. I love you guys as much as I love my soon to be fiance, and we can't wait to visit you! Ps the fish dip is the best in the world as well,

The Panne chicken is always delicious and the portions generous. I ordered online and really liked the convenience of picking up my order from the gift shop instead of waded through the dinner crowd waiting for a table. Will be ordering this way frequently! Good job, Red Bar!

Delicious, as always. Shrimp snaps when you bite into it. Crawfish, pasta and sauce are perfectly blended. The portion size is HUGE. I am surprised this dish is less than $30. Best dinner in town!
